MOJO Chinese Orchestra Gala Concert 2026 "Symphony of Light"

Event Synopsis From fleeting shadows to radiant peace, this Gala Concert invites audiences on a luminous journey through light and emotion. The programme begins with Jing Jianshu's "Yao Tian Shun Ri", evoking an ancient era of harmony and enlightenment. Zhu Lin's "Light and Shadow Dance" captures the ephemeral interplay of illumination and darkness, while Zhao Jiping's contemplative "Sentimentality" explores the emotional depths of memory and longing. The evening culminates in Liu Changyuan's monumental Symphony No. 5 "Light", a 44-minute masterwork that synthesizes the concert's themes into a powerful meditation on the transformative power of illumination. Through music, we reflect on the interplay between darkness and light, memory and momentum, peace and power.
